Fake Niche with Flower Vase

A classic of the Trompe-l’œil pictorial style.

Vivienne needed to embellish her corridor and at the same time to make it look bigger, the solution of the false niche seemed to us a winner. Not only did it give an extra touch of elegance, but it also achieved the goal, through the illusion, of expanding the space.

Made in Ficulle, a Medieval town near Orvieto, Umbria.
