Tempera-Painted Ceiling Restoration

This Nineteenth-century painting presented many issues. The first phase was to clean the surface and add stucco to the gaps. Subsequently I intervened with the pictorial compensation of the gaps using the tempera colors with the undertoning technique, in order to give continuity to the original design and at the same time make the restoration intervention recognizable.
